Launch of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP)

The Financial Intelligence Centre will on 10 September 2026 be launching a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for Anti-Money Laundering, Countering the Financing of Terrorism, and Counter-Proliferation Financing (AML/CFT/CPF).

This initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between government and private institutions to fight financial crimes. The launch will take place during the inaugural Public-Private Sector Dialogue (PPSD) symposium on AML/CFT/CPF, which runs from September 10 to 11, 2026, at Sandy's Creation in Lusaka, Zambia. The theme for the inaugural dialogue is 'Securing Zambia's Mineral Wealth: Strengthening Public-Private Partnerships Against Financial and Economic Crimes.'
